Of the 70,000 people in this area during the nighttime, there are virtually no survivors. Most deaths will occur from collapsing buildings. Although many fires will be started, only a small percentage of the of the buildings are likely to continue to burn after the blast wave passes. If the attack had been during the day, an additional 130,000 people would be killed.
